Purpose of the
position:
A position expected to support the

8: Work closely with IRC data officers to
ensure education data are accurately collected and input into DBMS.

Education Specialist and Education manager deem necessary.
Minimum Requirement:

Bachelor Degree in
Education, Social Science, International Development and or program
development. Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
Experience:

At least 3 years’
experience in a similar role (preferably in an international NGO) coupled with
professional experience in instruction and/or curriculum development within
Tanzania.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To coordinate and facilitate the
implementation of the Child Safe Space Project (CSSP) by insuring children and
communities in Manyara, Kilimanjaro, Singida and Dodoma regions of Tanzania are
empowered to protect children from abuse, neglect, exploitation and other forms
of violence. Also to ensure that child protection advocacy lessons are
documented and shared in WVT and beyond.
Major
Responsibilities:
·
Facilitate and
coordinate ADPs’ staff in the implementation of the CSS
Project
·
To mobilize Community
members for social change to reduce harmful traditional practices
·
Coordinate project
baseline and mapping of existing child protection system, referral institutions
and structures to prevent and respond to abuse, exploitation and neglect in
selected villages, Wards, and Districts.
·
Conduct training
to build the capacity of staff and partners to implement the Child
Safe Space Project e.g. local facilitators, Child Protection Teams ( CPTs) etc.
·
To ensure increased
access to services for most vulnerable households to prevent and respond to
abuse, neglect, and exploitation
·
To facilitate
production and distribution of Information, Education and Communication (IEC)
materials on child protection concerns e.g. Law of the child act, child protection
regulations, child policy, law of marriage for awareness raising.

In collaboration with
relevant agencies provide quality capacity building opportunities (e.g.
trainings) for community leaders and duty bearers
·
Coordinate project
monitoring and periodic review of the project design document to incorporate
baseline in DIP
·
Ensure that formal and
informal community-based child protection mechanisms are strengthened and are
fully functional in the community.

Ensure that Children
and youth groups (children council, clubs, peer education groups), have the
capacity to implement life skills and asset-building approaches
·
Prepare timely

Document promising /

wealth generation and distribution

Prepare a paper on formal and informal social norms in the research locations.
This should include how norms are being undermined.

outlined in the project design document and findings from literature review

Grants Finance Manager

Purpose of the
position:
Facilitate accurate and timely accounting,
reporting and budgetary functions and ensure conformity with World Vision
International reporting requirements and the stringent compliance standards
established by donor

Major
Responsibilities:

Facilitate preparation
of donor budgets, AOPs, DIPS, cash flows in line with partnership guidelines
and specific donor regulations, follow up the PBAS commitment of the Grant
project and properly track the annual grant budget
·
Submit accurate and
timely financial reports and file the signed copies; implement internal
controls and contribute to the designing of appropriate policies and procedures
·
Monitor actual grant
expenditures against approved donor line items on a monthly basis; alert
management on any irregularities and make recommendations concerning the
re-negotiation or approved grant line items with the donor where appropriate
·
Ensure monthly LDRs
are prepared by grant staff in compliance with LDR policy, including monthly
status submission and reconciliation with Payroll.

supervision of field office financial activities and review of finance

to Babati Pamoja project

Process all Cluster

accompanied with project site visits for verification on existence and delivery

Build capacity to
non-finance staff in Grants financial management.

Facilitate timely
monthly funding for the Grant against approved donor budgets and cash flows
·
