Purpose of the position:
A position expected to support the implementation of the education component in Tanga, parallel to the revised approach of the IRC in Kigoma. The Education Facilitator will be located at the grassroots level and responsible for project implementation, including community-level project planning, implementation, assessment, and technical reporting for all education-related activities within World Vision’s approved Scope of Work.
He/she will be based in Tanga Region and report both technically and administratively to World Vision’s Education Manager for the Tanga region.

Major Responsibilities:
1: Assist the Education Manager in designing the needs assessment of learning
Environments within the project area
2: In collaboration with child labour committees leading the identification, enrolment and re-integration of out of school/at risk children into primary, secondary and non-formal education
3: Working with focal teachers to follow up children beneficiaries
4: Assist the Education Manager in planning and implementing teachers training initiatives
5: Prepare narrative reports for submission to the Education Manager
6: Assist in the development of project action plan in quarterly basis
7: Prepare the documentation for discussions and briefing sessions
8: Work closely with IRC data officers to ensure education data are accurately collected and input into DBMS. 
9: Undertake other assignments that the Education Specialist and Education manager deem necessary. 
Minimum Requirement:
·         Bachelor Degree in Education, Social Science, International Development and or program development. Master’s degree will be an added advantage. 
  Experience:
·         At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role (preferably in an international NGO) coupled with professional experience in instruction and/or curriculum development within Tanzania.

 Project Coordinator - Child Safe Space

Job Title: Child Safe Space Project Coordinator
Reports to: Child Protection and Advocacy Manager
Location: Dar Es Salaam
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To coordinate and facilitate the implementation of the Child Safe Space Project (CSSP) by insuring children and communities in Manyara, Kilimanjaro, Singida and Dodoma regions of Tanzania are empowered to protect children from abuse, neglect, exploitation and other forms of violence. Also to ensure that child protection advocacy lessons are documented and shared in WVT and beyond.
Major Responsibilities:
·         Facilitate and coordinate ADPs’ staff in the  implementation of the CSS   Project
·         To mobilize Community members for social change to reduce harmful traditional practices
·         Coordinate project baseline and mapping of existing child protection system, referral institutions and structures to prevent and respond to abuse, exploitation and neglect in selected villages, Wards, and Districts.
·         Conduct training  to  build the capacity of staff and partners  to implement the Child Safe Space Project e.g. local facilitators, Child Protection Teams ( CPTs) etc.
·         To ensure increased access to services for most vulnerable households to prevent and respond to abuse, neglect, and exploitation
·         To facilitate production and distribution of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials on child protection concerns e.g.  Law of the child act, child protection regulations, child policy, law of marriage for awareness raising.
·         In collaboration with relevant agencies provide quality capacity building opportunities (e.g. trainings) for community leaders and duty bearers
·         Coordinate project monitoring and periodic review of the project design document to incorporate baseline in DIP
·         Ensure that formal and informal community-based child protection mechanisms are strengthened and are fully functional in the community.
·         Ensure that Children and youth groups (children council, clubs, peer education groups), have the capacity to implement life skills and asset-building approaches
·         Prepare timely narrative reports – quarterly, bi-annual  and annual
·         Document promising / best practice on child protection and ensure learning among staff and other stakeholder
·         Facilitate collection of data from the implementing  ADPs and input them into  the  EARO CPA database to inform programming and advocacy
·         Represent World Vision in related Child protection and advocacy meetings at the National and local government authorities.
Qualifications:  Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
Qualification required: Master Degree in Social Sciences; knowledge/skills in Community Development provides added advantage to perform.
Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in project management, especially in child rights advocacy.

 Wealth Generation Senior Research and Learning Officer

Job Title : Wealth Generation Senior Research and Learning Officer
Reports to : Programm manager 
Location : Arusha, Tanzania
Purpose of the position:
This position will be responsible for coordinating and implementing a research project as well as support Coordination of partnership academic program between WV East Africa and Southern Adventist University (USA). Specifically, the position will be responsible for designing and implementing a collection of data and literature related to wealth generation and social issues resulting from that success.

Major Responsibilities:
·         Prepare a paper on Tanzanian (specific tribal groups) attitudes to money and wealth generation and distribution
·         Prepare a paper on formal and informal social norms in the research locations. This should include how norms are being undermined.
·         Prepare survey  instruments according to the key research questions outlined in the project design document and findings from literature review
·         Prepare rationale for sampling (eg purposive vs random, adults vs children, etc.), why certain instruments will be best with certain groups etc.
·         Ensure coordination with, and input from, key stakeholders and advisors, viz:
o   MLAP Secretariat and WVT Operations Division
o   Religious leaders and government officials from research locations
o   Christian Commitment staff from WVT and EARO
·         Initiate link to, and get advice from, academic institution/s
·         Ensure instruments are checked by WVT Quality Assurance department
·         Prepare Terms Of Reference (TOR) for survey implementation

Major Responsibilities:
Strategic Engagement:
·         Facilitate that communities are facilitated to plan (AOP, DIP, Budget), implement, monitor and evaluate the program activities for quality and sustainable development
·         Coordinate the proper implementation of programs /projects annual operation plans and other planning documents
·         Facilitate that sponsorship issues and child protection standards are adhered to and they are adequately integrated into programming for community transformation
·         Facilitate that communities are mobilized and sensitized to understand and improve their sensitivity to child development and vulnerability factors within the community.
·         Facilitate assessments, design/ redesign (PDD), evaluation exercises, learning and reflection session with partners and stakeholders within the community for quality assurance.

·         Facilitate timely collection/review of program performance reports from zones/departments and compile the divisional monthly, quarterly, semi- annual and annual reports

·         Serve as office information manager by devising and maintaining office systems, including data management, regular uploading of divisional documents to the intranet, compilation of division performance dashboard updates, effective filling system, etc
·         Organize, coordinate with zones/cluster/ADP teams and maintain diaries and appointments for Support Office and key visitors (including hotel reservations, ground transport and ensure that bills are settled timely) and facilitate visitors in signing of child protection forms and maintain proper filing
·         Collaborate with Finance and Program teams to create new program numbers and attach in the data base (PIH/myPBAS).
·         Liaise with relevant departments to prepare/arrange meetings/workshops venue and logistics where operations division is a lead actor.
·         Create requisition of goods and services for the division institute control systems to ensure steward use of the supplied items.
·         Manage travels for divisional team members
·         Handle incoming mails and draft routine correspondence in response to inquiries including providing guest with general country information through email, brochures, telephone etc. as per policy.
·         Take meeting minutes and disseminate reports generated after meetings and other events
·         Make follow up on the recommendations from Mission Trip, Program Officers and Support Offices after their visit and ensure that their implemented.
·         Monitor all grants projects from hiring, budget and the grants used and how they are used

Purpose of the position:
Facilitate accurate and timely accounting, reporting and budgetary functions and ensure conformity with World Vision International reporting requirements and the stringent compliance standards established by donor

Major Responsibilities:
·         Facilitate preparation of donor budgets, AOPs, DIPS, cash flows in line with partnership guidelines and specific donor regulations, follow up the PBAS commitment of the Grant project and properly track the annual grant budget
·         Submit accurate and timely financial reports and file the signed copies; implement internal controls and contribute to the designing of appropriate policies and procedures
·         Monitor actual grant expenditures against approved donor line items on a monthly basis; alert management on any irregularities and make recommendations concerning the re-negotiation or approved grant line items with the donor where appropriate
·         Ensure monthly LDRs are prepared by grant staff in compliance with LDR policy, including monthly status submission and reconciliation with Payroll.
·         Prepare/review coding on vouchers for accurate account, expense codes, donor combinations and proper documentation (backup). Custodian of petty cash for the grant
·         Monitoring and supervision of field office financial activities and review of finance documents to ensure compliance with donor regulations before payments
·         Prepare and timely submit project funding request in line with cash flows for consolidation by cluster
·         Provide monthly project Fleet analysis report (maintenance and fuel cost) for management informed decision making, and participate on preparation of cluster Fleet report for National office monthly submission through zone.
·         Perform all Bank activities to include, timely submission of cheque list, Cash deposits relating to Babati Pamoja project
·         Process all Cluster payments  within the approved control system in a timely manner accompanied with project site visits for verification on existence and delivery of materials
·         Build capacity to non-finance staff in Grants financial management.
·         Facilitate timely monthly funding for the Grant against approved donor budgets and cash flows
·         Coordinate supply chain activities (procurement, stores and fleet management) for the Grant in line with WV procurement policies, procedures and diverse donor requirements.
·         Facilitate Grants audit exercise, participate in preparation of management responses and ensure timely submission, monitor implementation of audit recommendations, and provide regular consolidated updates on implementation to WVT management.
